CollegeSpring Mentors meet weekly with mentees to work on skill building and college readiness. This month we are spotlighting Danielle Chauvet:
Danielle was born in Brooklyn, where she first cultivated her passion for medicine and health equity. She is currently a senior at the City College of New York, where she majors in Biology. As an aspiring physician and public health professional, Danielle is passionate about the intersections between education and health. She became a CollegeSpring mentor to improve health outcomes among New York City youth, by promoting access to higher education.
This spring Danielle spearheaded a video project interviewing CollegeSpring NYC mentors as part of a competition to request that Michelle Obama speak at City College as a graduation speaker. Watch the full video below or click here to view and share.
