CollegeSpring serves students from backgrounds traditionally under-represented in higher education. Many of our students will be the first in their families to graduate from college. Describe any experience you’ve had with the population and communities that CollegeSpring serves. If you have little or limited experience serving these communities, please describe why you are interested in serving our students.

Describe any experience you have as a tutor, mentor and/or volunteer.

CollegeSpring Mentors are expected to collaborate and maintain positive relationships with fellow mentors, CollegeSpring staff, teachers and the administration at their school sites. Please address the following scenario. Scenario: After a few weeks into mentor sessions, you find you are struggling to teach math content to your students. You don’t feel like students are understanding the concepts and strategies in the lessons. What do you do?
