What is College Signing Day?
Signing Day is a chance to celebrate students for making a commitment to higher education. Hosted by schools, organizations, community leaders and influencers, Signing Day is a chance to rally around local students and show them your support. Created as part of the First Lady’s Reach Higher initiative, this movement is a way for educators, counselors and parents to encourage those heading to college, but as part of Better Make Room (the First Lady’s student-facing campaign) it’s also a way for students to inspire and encourage one another.
When is College Signing Day?
College Signing Day is on April 26, 2016, although college signings are always something to be celebrated!
How is CollegeSpring participating?
CollegeSpring is celebrating College Signing Day by highlighting the accomplishments of its students as they enroll in college, and inspiring CollegeSpring juniors to continue on their college paths by sharing the powerful signing day stories of our alumni and mentors. College acceptances are something that all students should be proud of, and we hope that all of the CollegeSpring community joins the #CollegeSigningDay movement.
How can you get involved?
Follow CollegeSpring on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter to learn more about the stories of our students, alumni, and mentors. You can also post a story about your college signing day (past, present or future!) and what it means to you. Tag @CollegeSpring and hashtag #ReachHigher and #CollegeSigningDay!
