CollegeSpring is a nonprofit organization that equips schools and teachers with the tools to help students confidently prepare for the SAT, TSIA2 and ACT. These tests are a critical part of college admissions, and every student deserves a chance to prepare. Yet test prep courses and private tutoring are often costly or hard to access. Our programs reduce this inequity by bringing high quality test preparation into schools. We build Test Confidence™ by training, supporting, and providing ongoing coaching to teachers at our partner schools to deliver the CollegeSpring curriculum to their students. Since 2008, CollegeSpring has helped provide school-day test prep to over 40,000 students across the country and we have an ambitious goal to serve 62,000 more from FY23-FY25.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Learning Management Systems Administrator is a new role at CollegeSpring for someone who is eager to manage learning systems–all in the name of creating a strong operational foundation and overall efficiency for a rapidly scaling organization. The primary responsibility will be to oversee, update, automate, and streamline our systems as needed–these include but are not limited to operations and processes related to our Learning Management System, Data Warehouse, Salesforce, and other business systems. This person will help CollegeSpring scale by managing key technical systems that meet our business objectives, ensure compliance, and maximize our staff time. This role will report to the Product Manager, and will be integral in the development of product offerings.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

CollegeSpring Learning Management Systems

  • Oversee and be technical lead for CollegeSpring Learning Management System (LMS) , including leading the technical build for current and future products
  • Responsible for overseeing content migration and building content in system as needed
  • Oversee and manage data warehouse and external LMS reporting systems, leading the workflows and management of data flows between all CollegeSpring systems
  • Support teams on new product builds, providing recommendations and input on system capabilities to ensure products are following best practices for content creation
  • Oversee and identify process improvements, ensuring that workflows are efficient and support organizational goals in scale and growth
  • Liaison with necessary 3rd party vendors, ensuring that any integrations and systems are meeting client needs
  • Manage the day-to-day administration, helpdesk, and support of LMS for internal teams
  • Provide training and technical support for teams, developing documentation and managing internal knowledge base
  • Oversee change management of LMS, including release notes, internal communications and post-implementation support
  • Establish, manage, and support new and existing integrations, single-sign on, LTI, developing training and workflows to ensure that CollegeSpring LMS is available for all external stakeholders
  • Build, manage, and support a ticketing system for on-going feedback loops and technical support

Salesforce Administration

  • Serve as lead for the overall support, maintenance and functionality of CollegeSpring Salesforce system
  • As administrator, responsible for the development and maintenance of business workflows, creating custom/formula fields, automations (e.g. flows, Process Builder), reports, and developing dashboards for all CollegeSpring departments, including using new features or tools like CRM analytics
  • Provide end user support including implementation, adoption, and ensuring data protection
  • Ensure that user roles, profiles, and security settings are maintained and follow all necessary protections
  • Update and maintain Salesforce systems documentation and best practices
  • Manage and maintain any third-party integrations
  • Manages external consultant projects as needed

 

Manage other key CollegeSpring business systems

  • Support organization wide technology needs including shared software and collaborate with Communications team on the CollegeSpring website
  • Update and maintain data governance and security protocols, ensuring privacy best practices are in place and adhered to.

Qualifications and Skills

  • You have 4+ years experience as data analyst, business, analyst, or systems administrator
  • You have experience and familiarity with Salesforce and other database systems, including working internally and managing multiple stakeholder group needs
  • You have experience with relational databases and understand SQL
  • Preferred experience with Cavas or Agilix learning management systems
  • You love how systems work together, and you bring direct experience helping make process improvements or leading integrations
  • You like to train others in understanding how a system works, enabling them to improve the quality of their work and meet organizational goals and outcomes
  • You know how to manage external vendors and contractors

DETAILS ABOUT THE ROLE

  • This role is remote within the United States; travel up to 10% of the time may be required.
  • Must be able to stand or sit for prolonged periods
  • Must be able to lift/ carry/ transport educational or promotional materials and/or equipment weighing up to 50lbs.
