Our impact
CollegeSpring provides in-school test prep for students impacted by poverty to help them pursue greater options after high school. Since 2008, we’ve partnered with school districts, community organizations, and nonprofits to help students improve their scores on gateway tests like the SAT®, ACT®, and TSIA2.
The act of studying, learning, and practicing for tests not only builds students’ confidence and a growth mindset, it also strengthens their math and English skills for success beyond high school.

Ready for success
Our program helps students get ready for important tests and reinforces foundational academic skills. Teachers and students get support in class to hit key milestones.
We more than doubled the number of CollegeSpring students meeting the SAT® readiness benchmarks in one year. By helping more students reach these benchmarks, we’re helping them unlock life-changing opportunities.
Readiness means students are prepared for the rigor of college, career, and life.
Meeting state standards
CollegeSpring tailors our programs to address the unique needs that our partners face in different states. We drive critical improvements in student outcomes that empower schools to meet readiness standards and unlock opportunities like increased dual enrollment for their students and state incentive funding for their schools.
In Texas, legislation (2019 House Bill 3) provides schools with $3,000-$5,000 in bonus funds for each College, Career, and Military Ready (CCMR) student. CollegeSpring partners with 10 districts across the state to improve their student test scores and unlock this transformative funding.

Strong partnerships
Together with our district, school, and nonprofit partners, we empower students to realize their own potential. Our program helps districts increase student outcomes and drives:
- Readiness benchmark achievement
- Meeting state benchmark requirements
- Funding to support this critical work
Teacher support
CollegeSpring is taught during the school day by teachers who students already know and trust.
We increase teachers’ capacity through:
- Robust lesson plans
- Data-driven analytics for each student
- 1:1 training for teachers
As a result, teachers help strengthen students’ foundational knowledge and improve overall academic achievement.
Student success
Boosting scores on critical tests has the potential to change the trajectories of students’ lives.
- Less remediation in college, more time for core classes
- Acceptance into competitive programs
- More likely to earn a higher education degree
- More scholarship money, less debt
